 Mission

To love God and people and be a part of the process of whole-life transformation as a community (aka, make disciples—see also the mission of the Free Methodist Church, USA)

Process: Developing a network of missional communities, the members of which are engaged in spiritually (wholly) transformative relationships with God, each other, in the context of the larger community.

Rationale: Our patterns, habits of how we interact with others reflect our values. Active engagement in relationships is much more powerful than merely teaching or preaching.

Discipleship is meant to be spiritual transformative. That is: Spiritual formation [the Trinity acting on us], a process of being conformed to the image of Christ [Jesus’ relationship of LOVE] for the sake of others. It is only useful if personal (i.e., tailored to the specific group and time), and appropriate to the context (e.g., youth, prison group, professional adults, etc.). The process is fundamentally relational.
